The Bishop of Kitgum Diocese, Rt. Rev. Wilson Kitara, has called on Christians to use the Easter season as a time for reflection and positive transformation in their lives.
Delivering his Easter message during Tembo FM’s Lagam Palwak program this morning, Bishop Kitara urged believers to turn away from negative behaviors and embrace values that promote moral and spiritual growth.
He warned strongly against alcoholism, describing it as a major contributor to poverty, family breakdown, and illiteracy within communities.
The Bishop also cautioned residents against engaging in land disputes, instead encouraging them to utilize their land productively for development.
He further called on Christians to draw inspiration from the resurrection of Jesus Christ to change their ways and live righteous lives.
Bishop Kitara emphasized the importance of walking in the light and fostering peaceful coexistence during and beyond the Easter period.
