Pajong Technical Institute in Mucwini Sub-County, Kitgum district has for the past one year been operating without a substantial head instructor, according to the district chairperson.
Mr. Arwai Christopher Obolk, Kitgum district chairperson said the then acting head instructor, Mr. Okello David Oketa left for further studies last year after getting a scholarship in Kenya and since then the school has been operating without a head instructor.
He revealed that the school currently has a population of 70 students enrolled in different courses and enough instructors.
He said he has written to the Ministry of Education and Sports for the posting a substantial head instructor to Pajong Technical Institute.
He appeals to the learners and the instructors to carry on with leaning as they wait for new instructors.
Pajong technical institute was established after a pledge made by president Yoweri Museveni in 2015 to Pajong, a clan whose 56 relatives were massacred by Lord’s Resistance Army LRA in 2002.
