Jubilation as Apostolic Nuncio visits Kitgum Vicariate

Thousands of Christians from all walks of life on Wednesday thronged Kitgum Mission Church to welcome the Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda, Archbishop Luigi Bianco on his visit to Kitgum Vicariate.
Bishop Luigi Bianco was accompanied by the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese His Grace, Dr John Baptist Odama, the Vicar General of Gulu Archdiocese, Msgr. Matthew Odong. Also in attendance on Wednesday Holy Mass at Kitgum Mission Church was the Bishop of Kitgum Diocese, Rev. Wilson Kitara among other Clergy men and women.
His Grace Dr John Baptist Odama lauded the Nuncio for his visit and said it signifies blessings Christian in the region and also for remembering Pop Francis in his Great work to Christians across the Globe.
He appeals to Christians to open their hearts and receive Christ in their lives, forgive each other and learn to share during the Esther Period
On his part, the Popes emissary to Uganda conveyed the Pope Francis’ message to Christians to promote peace adding that God only does good things to those who do good unto others and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Bishop Luigi Bianco appeals to Christians to prepare to celebrate Esther and be ready to sacrifice to God.
After the mass at Kitgum Mission Church, Bishop Luigi Bianco later on Wednesday afternoon travel to Wi-Polo in Paimol, Agago District to bless the shrine of the Blessed Jido Irwa and Daudi Okello followed by a Holy Mass with Christians before traveling back to Kampala.
