Following an increase in the number of Roaming Animals in Pager division, Local leaders in the Division have vowed to arrest and detain animals that will be found loitering within Pager Division

Hon Oyoo Morish Santo, the Pager Division Chairperson on Thursday noted that locals have become reluctant to take care of their Animals; leaving them to roam freely. This he says has caused a number of accidents and destroyed properties in the area.

He revealed that the division authorities will soon engage local council one executives to find a lasting solution to the problem.

Mr. Oyoo stressed that animals are not supposed to move unattended to adding that those who don’t have herdsmen should restrain their animals with ropes in a bid to prevent damages.
