Water crisis has hit 42 villages in Alito Sub County, Kole District.

Alito Sub County LC3 chairman Tom Olet attributes the water crisis on widespread cultivation of wetlands by locals which has caused most water sources in the area to dry up during this dry season.

Olet asked Kole District leaders to intervene and drill boreholes to rescue locals of the affected villages like Akweri, Adokingei, Adyel, Teawak, Aduke and Awaka Duny among others.
