As part of its mission to strengthen the faith and ambition of believers, Christianity Focus Centre (CFC) Ministries has concluded its 30th annual Ministers’ Conference. The eight-day event, which started on 20 July 2025 and ended today, drew hundreds of faithful and featured powerful sermons, worship sessions, and the launch of a new Christian book.
The conference was hosted by Bishop David Kiganda and Pastor Cindy Kiganda, and featured other international and local speakers including Bishop Michael Kyaze of Omega Healing Centre in Namasuba, Prophet Ebenezer Ako-Nai from Ghana, and Bishop Sammy Museppa from South Africa.
This year’s theme was titled “The Dangers of Forgetting Your Past Victory,” a message that was shared consistently throughout the event. On the opening day, Bishop David Kiganda launched a new book with the same title, inspired by the conference theme.
Speaking during the launch, Bishop Kiganda thanked God for the opportunity to write another book.
“I am so thankful to God for yet another opportunity to write a book. It is always by God’s grace that you can write something that changes lives,” he said.
He added that this is not his first publication and mentioned his earlier book titled Tougher Times-Tougher People.
“I don’t write to make money, but to express what God has revealed to me. I write not for myself, but for the people of God,” he emphasized, also thanking everyone who supported the event.
Pastor Cindy Kiganda, who preached during the final day, emphasized the importance of remembering what God has done.
“People of God, don’t ever forget what God did for you. This gives you courage to move on,” she said.
She shared a personal testimony of how she was once mocked for being barren.
“They said, how can you be that beautiful and fail to give birth if you’re not a ghost, yet you’re a bishop’s wife? But God gave me twins. Though Waswa died, I have Miracle. God can silence your enemies,” she testified.
In her sermon, she urged believers not to act like the prophet Elijah, who despite being used by God to stop rain, ran in fear of Jezebel.
“Elijah forgot what God had done for him. He feared a woman and ran. But the same God who stopped the rain could have handled Jezebel. We serve a powerful God who cannot be intimidated,” she preached.
Other speakers including Bishop Michael Kyaze and Prophet Ebenezer Ako-Nai encouraged believers never to fear the devil or the challenges they face but to always remember God’s past victories, including the gift of life.
Among those in attendance was National Unity Platform Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gather with fellow believers. He praised Bishop Kiganda’s new book, calling it a tool that can help transform people’s mindsets and refocus them on God.
Many believers who attended said they left the conference spiritually revived and committed to remembering and standing on what God has done in their lives. They thanked CFC for organizing such a life-changing and God-centered event, and believe that their lives will not remain the same.
