Believers of The Worship House Ministries in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District, gathered today at their church to give thanks to God for His goodness and to sow a special seed for the year to support church construction.
Drawing on Psalm 107:1, “Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever,” the congregation united in prayer, worship, and giving.
In his sermon, Lead Pastor Wilson Bugembe thanked the believers for taking the time to contribute toward the church building project. He explained that the special seed collected would be used to support the ongoing construction.
Among the notable attendees was Professor Lawrence Muganga, Vice-Chancellor of Victoria University, who served as the Guest of Honour.
“I am very happy to see you here in such large numbers. I thank God for allowing us to gather today. I also appreciate Professor Muganga for accepting our invitation. Giving to God is not for everyone; it is for those who understand the blessing in sowing. God still performs miracles, and I believe He will bless everyone who has contributed today,” Pastor Bugembe told the congregation.
Addressing the congregation, Professor Muganga thanked Pastor Bugembe for the invitation and shared a personal testimony about the pastor’s support during his mother’s illness.
“During my mother’s time in ICU, she would listen to Pastor Bugembe’s music because it brought her comfort. Even after her passing, Pastor Bugembe came to Mukono and stood with our family. The church is a place of hope, and every contribution you make helps someone in need,” he said.
Professor Muganga also read from the Book of Haggai, urging believers not to live comfortably while God’s house remains unfinished. He then announced that Victoria University would donate ten million Uganda Shillings and personally pledged an additional ten million Uganda Shillings in memory of his late mother.

Members of the congregation expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to give.
“I am grateful to be part of this church. It is not about money, but about our love for God. This church has supported me, and I am proud to belong here,” said one believer, Sheila.
The service concluded with congregants sowing their seeds in faith and celebration.
