The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has today released a revised calendar for completed surveys and census reports.

The announcement was made by the Bureau’s spokesperson, Didacus Okoth, on behalf of the Executive Director, Dr Chris Mukiza, during a briefing held at the Uganda Media Centre.

In his address, Okoth called on the media to continue playing an active role in informing the public about the Bureau’s activities.

“We wish to appreciate our colleagues in the media for consistently updating the country on the Bureau’s work. We urge them to continue the important task of educating the public, particularly about UBOS and its mandate,” he said.

He added that the revised dissemination calendar provides updated timelines for the release of statistical data and information. This, he noted, is essential in supporting evidence-based planning, policy formulation, and informed public debate.

According to UBOS, the revised calendar is a crucial tool for both government and the general public. Stakeholders have been encouraged to visit the Bureau’s official website to access detailed survey information and gain a better understanding of ongoing statistical activities.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Uganda, Robinah Nabbanja, today launched a locally manufactured IVD test at the Serena Hotel Kampala.

During the launch, Nabbanja commended the Ministry of Health for its efforts and encouraged local manufacturers to continue supporting domestic production. She also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting local innovations and strengthening the health sector.
