Phaneroo Ministries celebrates 12 years of transforming lives

Phaneroo Ministries International has celebrated its 12th anniversary since the ministry was established.

The celebrations were held at the Phaneroo grounds in Naguru, Kampala, where the lead pastor, Apostle Grace Lubega, thanked God for sustaining the ministry for the past 12 years.

Lubega said the ministry would not have reached this milestone without God’s grace and urged believers to continue putting their trust in God.

“I want to thank God for bringing us to this day. A man in the Bible organised a feast, but no one turned up. So, your coming here is not something we take for granted. Thank you for loving us. An anniversary is a place of reflection. When a ministry makes 12 years, there is a spiritual message to the ministry, and this is that we have now started pioneering a new thing. But it is not an easy thing. We thank God for the grace,” he said.

Lubega said the 12th anniversary marks the beginning of a new chapter for the ministry, adding that the foundation laid today will benefit future generations.

“This won’t stop with us because this is a foundation. This means that where we end is where they will start. The next step of our ministry is one of them: territorial governance,” he added.

He also encouraged believers to develop ideas that could contribute to the growth of the Church and society.

“Sometimes we begin an idea in the Church of Christ and, in a few years, it is going to bring other things. We pray that an idea comes out of you,” Lubega said.

Phaneroo Ministries International holds weekly services and has attracted both Ugandan and international believers. The ministry says it is optimistic that the next 12 years will bring more testimonies and lead many more people to accept Jesus Christ.

The anniversary celebrations attracted various dignitaries, including political leaders, pastors such as Bishop Frank Butayi and his wife, and businesspeople, including Godfrey Kirumira, among others.

Believers from at least 41 countries also participated in the celebrations, while similar anniversary activities were held in Mbale, Gulu and Mbarara.

Agnes Ashaba, one of the believers at Phaneroo Ministries, thanked God for the 12 years, describing them as years of success and transformed lives.

“I am thankful to God Almighty for our papa, Apostle Grace Lubega. I joined this ministry when it was at Labonita. Since then, my life has changed so much. Honestly, as a person, I have been able to achieve so many things because of this ministry, and indeed, we have to thank God for everything He has done for us,” she said.

Ashaba prayed for God to continue protecting Lubega and his family while giving them more strength and anointing to continue serving the ministry.

“To those who don’t believe, they should try this ministry. God still performs miracles,” she added.
