In an effort to empower women, especially in spiritual affairs, Phaneroo Ministries International yesterday held the 8th edition of its annual “My Great Price” Women’s Conference at the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Kampala.

Thousands of women from different regions attended the event, with Apostle Grace Lubega, the lead pastor of Phaneroo Ministries International, serving as the main speaker.

Speaking at the conference, Apostle Lubega explained the significance of the annual gathering and challenged other ministries to invest in empowering women, noting that women possess immense potential which, when properly utilized according to God’s purpose, can transform many lives.

“There’s something God is building, and in the coming years we are going to see it. In raising women also comes discipline that grounds them not to expend themselves beyond the limits of their biological functions. We are not trying to emancipate you in the political sense; we are trying to give you freedom. Out of that freedom will come a full expression of what God has given you. Ministries should organize such conferences and even bigger ones,” he said.

Apostle Lubega noted that women have a significant role to play in advancing God’s work and society when given the opportunity to fully utilize their gifts and talents.

Phaneroo Ministries International is among the Christian ministries known for providing women with opportunities to serve in various departments, including media, worship, instrumental music, preaching, and other areas of ministry.

Ms. Ruth Bukenya, the leader of the women’s ministry at Phaneroo Ministries International, thanked Apostle Lubega for supporting the annual conferences, which she said have enabled many women to discover their purpose, especially in the spiritual realm.

“Our Pastor, Apostle Grace Lubega, discovered something special in women that has not fully been awakened. He therefore decided to organize such conferences, and we thank him for that. These conferences remind women that they have the ability to do exactly what men can do, especially in the spiritual realm,” she said.

Other ministers who preached at the conference included Bishop Kathy Kiuna from Kenya and Pastor Modestar Omoding, among others. They delivered messages aimed at strengthening women and encouraging them to live fearlessly while pursuing God’s purpose for their lives.

Participants commended the ministry for organizing the conference and described it as a life-changing experience that inspired them spiritually and personally.
