As the Buganda Kingdom prepares to celebrate the 32nd coronation anniversary of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II on 31 July 2025, various leaders and institutions have expressed their gratitude for the monarch’s leadership and community-focused initiatives.

Kizito Joseph, Headteacher of Sheehan Standard Day and Boarding Primary School, praised the Kabaka’s transformative programmes, stating that they have greatly benefited not only the Baganda but many other Ugandans as well.

“I’m thankful to God that our Kabaka is about to mark 32 years on the throne. He has been an outstanding leader—where the kingdom once stood in terms of development is not where it is today. His initiatives have helped people access education, healthcare, and other essential services,” Kizito told journalists in Kampala.

He emphasised that many children have survived and thrived thanks to the Kabaka’s free treatment programmes and scholarship schemes. “Many lives have been positively impacted through these efforts,” he added.

Patrick Bukenya, Head of Prefects at Sheehan School, also commended the Kabaka for his contribution to national development. “I congratulate the Kabaka on reaching 32 years on the throne. He has offered land for development and supported free education, which has improved the well-being of many people,” Bukenya said.
