As Buganda Kingdom gears up to mark the 32nd coronation anniversary of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II on July 31, 2025, several leaders and institutions have come forward to express gratitude for the monarch’s leadership and community-focused initiatives.

Kizito Joseph, the headteacher of Sheehan Standard Day and Boarding Primary School, has hailed the Kabaka’s transformative programs, saying they have greatly benefited not only the Baganda but also many other Ugandans.

“I’m thankful to God that our Kabaka is soon making 32 years on the throne. He has been a great leader because where the kingdom was in terms of development is not the way it is now. His programs have helped people access education, healthcare, and other essential services,” Kizito told journalists in Kampala.

He emphasised that many children have survived and succeeded thanks to the Kabaka’s free treatment programs and scholarship initiatives. “Many other lives have been touched through these efforts,” he noted.

Patrick Bukenya, the head of prefects at Sheehan School, also praised the Kabaka for his contribution to national development. “I want to congratulate the Kabaka upon making 32 years on the throne. He has offered land for development and supported free education, which has improved the well-being of many people,” Bukenya said.
