In order to create awareness on government programmes, a meeting held in Kireka village on July 27, 2024, brought together residents of all ages to learn about government initiatives aimed at improving their lives. Facilitated by Community Development Officer (CDO) Katimbo Livingston, the gathering highlighted programmes such as Parish Development Model (PDM), Special Enterprise Grant for Older Persons (SEGOP), and Social Assistance Grants for Empowerment (SAGE), which provide financial support to youth, older persons, and women.
