Three children, once victims of domestic violence, have transformed their lives through education. Ntondo Erisa, Nankota Edrin, and Muzyunyi Sadam were driven to the streets due to family conflicts, but their fortunes changed positively when they enrolled at African Hearts Junior School. Their stories, marked by hardship and resilience, were shared during the “Children Talk Show” on Mama FM this Sunday.
Ntondo, Nankota, and Muzyunyi recounted their painful journeys on the streets and expressed their renewed hope for the future through education. “I want to become a doctor to help others like me,” said Ntondo, highlighting the transformative power of education.
The programme underscored the importance of supporting vulnerable children to break the cycle of poverty and violence. Their testimonies, captured live on air, served as a powerful reminder of the potential within every child when given a second chance.
African Hearts Junior School, where the children are now studying, plays a crucial role in helping former street children like Ntondo, Nankota, and Muzyunyi rebuild their lives and work towards their dreams. The event was part of Mama FM’s ongoing commitment to uplifting marginalised voices and advocating for the rights of children.
