Dean Emmanuel of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has thrown his hat into the ring, challenging incumbent Kigongo Moses for the position of First National Vice Chairperson. Today, Emmanuel’s nomination was confirmed by the National Electoral Commission, chaired by Tanga Odoi.
Emmanuel’s campaign focuses on strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and establishing a permanent presence across the country. He emphasises the need for active mobilisation and member registration beyond election cycles, promising to reinforce party structures and deliver a tangible impact at grassroots level.
With President Museveni at the helm, the NRM is witnessing a new generation of leaders seeking to shape its future. The contest between Emmanuel and Moses promises to inject renewed energy and ideas into the party’s top echelons.
