In 2018, Uganda Media Women’s Association conducted training on Gender-Sensitive Reporting for journalists and how to use media to advocate for gender equality for women politicians in Hoima City. Mama Fm followed up with some of the beneficiaries, in this first audio series, we interviewed Hon Ashah Karamagi, a woman councilor; Mparo East division, Hoima City who shared her experience on how she has used the media in her leadership journey.
