Qweshunga has organised an exciting gathering of givers

Qweshunga, in partnership with other civil society organisations, is proud to announce the upcoming “gathering of givers” event, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at celebrating the spirit of giving and fostering a culture of philanthropy in Uganda.

Speaking to the media at their office in Ntinda, Maine Mbabazi emphasised that this event is not just a meeting but a movement that seeks to unite individuals and organisations dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.

The “gathering of givers” will take place at the Ndere Culture Centre on 28th September 2014, with the theme “our generous spirit.” The event aims to bring together influential and philanthropic minds from across the country, providing a platform for learning, sharing, and collaboration.

Mbabazi extended an invitation to all individuals who embrace the culture of generosity, emphasising that this gathering is not limited to those already involved in philanthropy. Anyone interested in learning how they can contribute to making a difference is encouraged to attend, regardless of the size of their contribution.

The organisers stress that the “gathering of givers” is an inclusive event, welcoming both seasoned philanthropists and those just starting their giving journey. The event promises to inspire, educate, and empower individuals to make a positive impact in their communities.
