SFC soldier sentenced to 40 years over robbery

The chairman of 01 special Forces Group in the Special Force Command court martial Lt. Col Moses Nabasa has sentenced Private Ecee Julius of SFC 3FAR  at Loro Town Council  to life imprisonment for murder and 40 years imprisonment for aggravated robbery by 01 SFG Court martial. 

He is to serve his sentence concurrently in Luzira government Prisons effective today. 

On 26th December, 2023, he shot and killed civilian Akora and injuring other two and also robbed 65,000/= from a hardware shop in loro Town. 

He had escaped from his place of work in waza while on guard duties with his personal rifle wrapped/ concealed in a mattress.
