Lack of sign language interpreters leads to violence against deaf children

According to Uganda Bureau of Statistics, 36% of female children 5-17 years with disabilities experienced physical or sexual violence. Focusing on children with deaf disability, we have produced a radio feature on why the lack of professional sign language interpreters leads to some forms of violence against the children especially in schools.
