Archbishop Kaziimba urges Amolatar Christians to put God first

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr Samuel Kazimba Mugalu, has described the people of Amolatar as blessed for living at the geographical centre of Uganda.

The Archbishop made the remarks on Monday, 21 September 2026, while addressing Christians in Amolatar during his farewell visit to Christians in the Lango Diocese.

Archbishop Kazimba appealed to the people of Amolatar to put God first, saying that God is the true centre of Uganda and the source of all blessings.

He cautioned Christians against seeking help from witch doctors. Instead, he urged them to turn to God, whom he described as the ultimate problem-solver.

The Archbishop said God knows all the problems people face and encouraged Christians to seek His help at all times — today, tomorrow and forever. He assured them that God will never turn against them, even when other people reject or dislike them.
