The District Police Commander of Amolatar, Mr. Mafabi John, has warned bar operators against playing loud music in areas designated as examination centers.
Mafabi issued the warning Monday 2nd.Nov.2026 while receiving examination materials at Amolatar Central Police Station.
He said the district had received eight sealed boxes containing examination papers.
Four boxes will remain at Amolatar Central Police Station, while the other four will be transported to Namasale Police Station.
He also cautioned teachers against engaging in examination malpractice, warning that anyone found attempting to compromise the examinations would be arrested.
Meanwhile, Peter Obote the DEO Amolatar district confirmed that the examination materials had been received and were intact.
He said authorities were taking a tougher stance against malpractice this year, following the withholding of examinations from two schools last year because of malpractice.
The schools affected were Agwingiri Primary School and Namasale Seed Secondary School.
Obote said this year’s examinations would be conducted at 51 sitting centers, involving a total of 2,878 candidates.
He reiterated the warning to bar owners, directing police officers to take immediate action against any operator who plays loud music near examination centers.
