The Principal of Namasale Technical Institute, Canon Ogwal Moses Owiny, has appealed to the government to deploy more teaching staff to the institution.

Currently, the institute has thirteen teachers on the government payroll, while forty-one others are employed under non-government arrangements. Canon Ogwal explained that the shortage of government teachers had forced the institution to recruit additional staff to support teaching and learning.

He said increased government support would enable the institution to redirect funds currently spent on staff salaries toward other developmental projects.

Canon Ogwal also commended the institute’s performance and thanked parents for continuing to trust and support the school.
