The 2026 Sky View Boys Schools Cricket Week got off to a thrilling start on Sunday in Fort Portal City, with five exciting encounters played across different grounds.
Lango College emerged as the standout performer of Day One with a dominant display, winning two games in a single day.
DAY ONE – SUNDAY 23rd O8/2026 RESULTS:

At Nyakasura Ground, Masaka SSS beat Good Heart by 14 runs in a closely contested game to register their first win of the tournament.
At Kicwamba 1, after Jinja S.S won the toss and asked Soroti S.S to bat first, Soroti SS edged Jinja SSS by 6 runs in a nail-biting low-scoring thriller.
The biggest statement of the morning came at Kicwamba 2, where Lango College thrashed Kasese SS by a massive 112 runs, showing their intent for this year’s title.
Nyakasura School gave their home fans something to celebrate at SLECK 1, after comfortably beating St. Cornelius by 8 wickets.
Meanwhile at SLECK 2, Shree International School Kira secured a convincing 66-run victory over KC Butiiki.
In another heated afternoon encounter that started at 2PM, Lango College registered their second win of the day.

Olila High struggled with the bat, managing only 76/9 in 15 overs.
Lango College chased down the target, scoring 79/5 in 14 overs to win by 5 wickets.
With two wins from two games on Match Day One, Lango College has sent a strong warning to title contenders.
The action continues on Monday with more mouth-watering group games as schools battle for quarterfinal slots.
