Kole, Uganda: Pageant star, youth advocate and Miss Universe Uganda 2026 first runner-up Kimberly Jael Aremo Acio, also known as Kimberly Joy Lareba Achu, has been unveiled as the brand ambassador for Pepsi Uganda, operated by Crown Beverages Limited.
The announcement follows strong online support from fans after her standout performance at the Miss Universe Uganda pageant, where she represented Kole District and attracted national attention.
Speaking at her unveiling, the 20-year-old beauty queen, who also holds the Miss Afrikana title, expressed gratitude and excitement about the partnership.
“Honestly, words can’t express what I’m feeling right now. It’s really exciting, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent such a beautiful brand,” Kimberly said.
She recalled her childhood admiration for Pepsi, saying the opportunity to represent a brand she grew up enjoying felt surreal.
Kimberly, a former high school valedictorian from Kole District, said she intends to use the platform to inspire young people and promote youth empowerment across Uganda.
“I’m from Kole—Kole is my home and my heart. Being able to represent young people from my region is amazing. I look forward to working with Pepsi as someone who strongly believes in young people, our creativity and our boldness,” she said.
Encouraging fellow young people, she urged them to pursue their dreams without hesitation.
“Be bold, step into the spaces you want to occupy and shoot your shot. I shot my shot, and here we are,” she said.
The endorsement marks a major commercial milestone for the Northern Uganda-born star, further cementing her influence as a youth advocate, model and brand representative.
